Los Feliz Votes
Sonya Adams

For over a decade I have lived in, and loved, Los Feliz. Like many of you, I have been dismayed by the current state of National politics, and the hatred and division that is being espoused. I want to ensure that on a local level, there is no place for that. Becoming more involved in local governance will allow me to advocate for residents and business owners and the needs they are currently facing. Specifically, on our neighborhood council I would focus on making our streets safer, address housing affordability, and make mindful choices with residential development, which includes being against displacement of current residents for ED1 initiatives. Professionally, I am the director of a non-profit, and know working with key stakeholders allows me to create programs that have been able to educate 10 year-olds to 90 year-olds. Working together, I know we can ensure Los Feliz remains a jewel of a neighborhood to live and work.
