Nissa Gutierrez

Born and raised in Southern California, in a small mountain community near Mt. Baldy, I learned the importance of community engagement and caring for your neighbors. Now that I've lived in Los Feliz for two years, I want to be more accessible to and involved in my community here that I've grown to love so much. I'm inspired to become more focused on the things I can control and being there to serve this community in every way.

This last year I've joined both the Homelessness and Outreach Committees and been able to see first hand how I can help make positive changes and show up for my community in a real way. I hope to continue to work alongside this Neighborhood Council to find more ways to bring our community members together to help one another, meet one another and celebrate all the things that make us so great.
