Armando Huipe

As Executive Director of Skylight Theatre Company (Vermont & Franklin) for the past three years, I've seen firsthand the connection between culture, commerce, and quality of life. As a native Angeleno from Echo Park, I understand Los Feliz's business landscape and admire the enduring impact of its iconic businesses. My work with Skylight has included collaborating with the Los Feliz Village BID and the Neighborhood Council's Arts & Culture and Homelessness Committees. Our Spring 2024 production, with Council support, donated 1,400+ sandwiches to local food programs. I'm eager to represent local businesses on the Council and support initiatives to buy local, support small businesses, and enhance Los Feliz's quality of life.
